I agree with the majority here-there are way too many wierd things happening, and too many cars that are riced out or civic-ish. When I first started looking at e30's a few years ago, the group was pretty small and there were a lot of tastefully modified or reletively stock cars in good shape. Now, the prices are (supposedly) going up, most of the stock cars have been beat to death, and some projects (cough-cough-NEWMAN) are a bit unreasonable. Its sad, because I love the e30 crowd, but most of the OGs are gone. I'm definitely keeping the e30, though.

Well. its supply, and demand. If someone wants a alphinewhite mtech2 on some dope rims with a boosted m52 (just making this up as i go) putting down a good 350hp and its awesome inside and out, that someone will have to pay the price the owner of that car wants. So i can see how thats going.

I was always taught, put a grand or two on top of what you really want, so when they talk you down, your leaving with what you really want/need. so i see it from that point as well.

If there is a noob selling a 85 eta in the condition mine was before i sold it for junk, and he was asking over 1200, i would flame on him.

the OG's might be leaving, but some of it is result of life changes. some badass cars were sold in order to keep food on the table, kids in school, or the house in their possession. that is respectable to anyone who has to do that. bills come before hobbies.

We have control on what happens, and how it happens. your input will alter someones thoughts and outlooks. If you know a car is NOT worth 563489 thousand, put your .02 in. be like "hey man, from my experience, the car is worth anywhere from $x-$x thousand".

If someone buys someones car that was on the forum, big whoop. they had the money, and they got it. if i got that m52 car, id pimp the shit out of it everywhere! haha

just keep your chins up. the only people who can make this board take a shit on everyone is us. we ARE the members... and if the moderators wana fuck it up (your good guys, and not charging like e30tech does), then someone dish out and make another site...

Uh, no one is complaining because people are leaving. People aren't leaving. It's just a long running pre-April Fool's joke gone terribly wrong. They're all asking astronomical amounts on purpose, it's apparently a spoof on Jordan when he left. Sorry if you didn't get the gist of it after a 65 post thread.
