I have no idea why anyone would want to do this. It doesn't fit the rest of the car at all. It looks like what it is, an E36 dash in an E30. Totally out of place.

I have an mk2 and a lot of mk2 owners put mk3 dashes in their mk2's... it looks good, not sure about the e36 dash in a e30 though

Agreed, those do look good. But the vast differences in the styling of the E36 dash in contrast to the E30 dash, and the E30 as a whole are too much.
I might consider a 318ti dash, other then that I think the e30 dash is great. Not to mention that project would suck. I put a e30 dash in my old 2002 and that was a bitch!

Ive also seen the E30 dash into Mk2 VW swap. Pretty cool also
There was a VDub mag a few years back that had a car with an E30 dash. Cant find any pics right now.
