Yes but there has always been a ACR prepped Neon. But a Corolla and it probably still gets 28 mpg.Comment

I think the new Scion Xc (obviously a Toyota ) is running 170 Hp and it will most likely have plenty of mods offered, thats what Scion is all about.Est 04'...Comment

Every Scion around here is loaded with stereo equipment and show goodies... power isn't really the big issue in a squared off car. The new one looks like it'll be a good starter for mods, though.Originally posted by SherwinationI think the new Scion Xc (obviously a Toyota ) is running 170 Hp and it will most likely have plenty of mods offered, thats what Scion is all about.

What really upsets me is knowing that there are more than a few SUVs that'll smoke me in a straight line. Mom's soccer-mobile in the next lane over could hand me my a$$ and there isn't a thing I could do about it. On top of that there are loads of plain-jane sedans that are sporting crazy power figures too. I can almost accept that there's a Neon available that'll annihilate me bone stock and will make me look just plain stupid with under a grand worth of mods since it is turboed and Dodge has built more turbo cars than anybody else...

who cares, most of the people driving those cars will never get close to even using half of their potential. you can still leave a big powerful SUV in the dust if you know how to drive :PComment

well stoplight to stoplight, being a consistent driver of a slower car would makes it physically impossible to beat consistent drivers (read: automatic) of more powerful vehicles that accelerate faster. So knowing how to drive has little to do with it "on the road".... I also think its pretty much a given that the smaller, lighter car with an "enthusiastic" driver will "still leave a big powerful SUV in the dust" against some soccer mom in a highhorsepower tank on some sort of race course.
but it isnt a roadcourse..
yatze!
