Can anyone answer my question? If you haven't looked at a set of these that were made by this company, then you really can't answer the question. Also, these aren't the same headers I see on the IE website.
Yes, they are the same headers that IE sells. IE's site has a picture of a set of pre-prodution ones. I got IE's on mine. they are holding up just fine. But i had a proplem with the #5 tube lining up with the studs in the head.
Thanks Jason, that was the kind of info I am looking for. I have seen very well made headers from China on some Asian cars and wondered about these for the E30.
How about clearance under the car? I had a set of Stahls years ago that were junk after a few years of being on a lowered, street driven E30.
They are more of a mid tube header then long tubes. They don't hang down, and they are tucked up under there. Might as well say that they have the same ground clearence as the stock system.
those prolly have the same problem. I have a set of Budget beater old tubes that had the same problem. I guess they ran him off to china. I think his was Taiwan made..
I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread. @Zakspeed_US
I was thinking that they looked just a little short as compaired to the other's "long tube" designs, but I'll buy a set and see what they look like. The car I'm building isn't going to get many miles put on it anyway. They are $168.00 including shipping and I'll take my chances with them. I've bought probably four dozen sets of headers over the years and any that fit 100% perfectly are rare. I weld and I know that tubing moves around when welded bolted to even the best jig.
