    Pin Stripes On Hood????

Hello, Just got my 318is back on the road and am ready to buff the paint now that I have used liquid clay bar.

My question is before I strip the pin stripes off I am hoping you all can tell me where I can get them or who makes them thanks for your help.

Pinstripes on the sides are marginally OK at best as long as they follow the body lines, which yours do not do. On the hood NO !! Go buy a 70's full size van for that...

Where to get them? Any paint/body shop supply house... 3M's is probably some of the best

now get to spray bombing things to restore it....

It was his poor attempt at a witty retort.

If you all cant tell me who makes these then I guess your not as smart as you think. These are not custom pinstripes they are specifically made for the e30 so someone must know who makes them or did.

uhoh. i think fidhle is gonna give someone a new asshole soon.

No pinstripes on the hood, sir. although BMW might stand for: Big Mexican Woman, we, in fact, are not mexicans. this is not a lowrider.

                  keep everything smooth

i see no pinstripes on the hood. are you talking about along the side of the car? cause those are painted. so your going to need to go to a bodyshop.

The pinstripes are on the hood I have already begun to remove them so you can only see a liitle bit left of them. As for them being painted they are not they are adhered.

Here is a pic from before I started to remove them.

There is not a company that makes pinstripes like that for a e30. Those were done by hand either by paint or by altering the tape stripes to make that very look. I can make those all day long with the tape stripe. I however would not want that on my car as it just does not belong period on the hood. But from the looks of them they are taped on stripes and can be duplicated by using only one stripe of the dual stripe to make those runs. I thought you were a vinyl graphics expert? WTF ??

That's funny coming from you. I find your pinstripes to be both shallow and pedantic.

                            Thanks for the help!

As for the pinstripes I didn't put them on there and am in the process of taking them of so I can properly buff the car.

Oh ya and your car reminds me of a toilet bowl, Ya know yellow on the brim.

Idk what kind of rims you have but they look ricey all day long
