///M cars, AMG cars, most Porsches (including PCCB equipped cars) all have drilled rotors. From what I've heard, the reason they use these rotors is purely cosmetic. In the case of PCCB, the reason those are drilled is most likely to reduce unsprung weight on each corner.

I did some reading yesterday on a RX-7 forum about the debate of solid v. slotted v. drilled rotors, and I found some interesting information. Everything I have heard about drilled rotors is that they do NOT reduce cooling at all, and in many (usually on-track) situations, they are prone to cracking. Most companies/race teams seem to say that solid or slotted are the ways to go. Check the link below, refer to post #32.

Great info, I already ordered Brembos, 2 front slotted rotors and 2 rear solid ones from tirerack, calipers will be replaced with used ones. Brake lines will be replaced with stainless steel ones. ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid will replace the current brake fluid.

your stopping power should be enough for the high speeds the eta reaches.. lol.

looks like a good start. i picked up my 87 eta for 400.00. PO said it doesn't run, all i did was tighten down a ground wire from the block to the chassis and it's been running like a top ever since.. well after it got a new timing belt/water pump/valve adjustment..

awesome, from what I have seen and heard etas are pretty tough. I think it's going to be a great little whip, but there's always "it needs to have xx done"
