She's an 86 325e, 2.7 litre eta engine. She received a new crossmember, control arms, sway bar, and tierods. I'm thinking a brake kit somewhere along the line, but I dont have the money available at the moment to get a nice kit, I saw a wilwood one that I really liked, but I would have to get new wheels to fit. Amazingly the brakes are still ok, although the ABS is gone. The rear differential is covered in rust, that will eventually have to be replaced aswell. Next up, I'm getting in on the lowtech group buy that will take care of the suspension. Body wise, Just need a new fender, theres some surface rust on it. This car is from New Hampshire, I am surprised the chassis is not rusted through. The interior is going to be redone completely, hopefully in either tan or grey.
The car has 231K miles on it, and the engine starts and runs like a champ. I have to say, the eta is an interesting drive. Thanks for the kind words guys.
Unless you have some serious plans for your motor, You dont need a brake kit. Just redo the stock brakes, Bleed them really well and you will have all the braking power you need.
-Rebuild calipers
-SS lines
-25mm M/C If you want less pedal travel.
-Nice pads(I like Hawk HPS)
-New stock rotors
-Bleed with ATE Blue or Amber
-Get your ABS working again
You will have enough brakes for sure, For much less than a BBK.

Yeah, the stock Ate/Girling brakes are perfectly fine for stock power. Just buy some used calipers, new OE or slotted rotors, stainless steel lines, and decent pads and you'll be set, and it probably won't cost any more than $5-600 for everything.

no serious plans for the motor, I'm just looking to make a cruiser out of her. I figured it would be easier to just slap on a kit, instead of rebuilding the originals, because if i was to rebuild it, i would change every thing brake related apart from the brake cylinder. and a brake kit would be cheaper
