The ///M Badge is original from the dealer because it has the M steering wheel and suspension package.

Actually, and I know this is insane. My 87 eS, had a stock M badge too. I took it off, but the glue is still there.

Any one else had that badge on an ES. Also my late 86 ES and IS had that oval for m-technik badge on the rear spoiler, but early 86 didn't.

Looks super clean! Congradulations on a nice find, it should be an excellent car. What are your plans for it?

Paint front spoiler, rear view mirrors, bumper rubber original red, and repaint all trim black again, timing belt, drop the tank and clean it, new fuel lines, filters, pumps, all the good stuff.

It has been garage kept for 10yrs so lots to do.

The PO said because it had these options 704 M SPORT SUSPENSION 708 M-SPORT LEATHER STEERING WHEEL II The dealer put the ///M badge.

60k?? thats great, and i thought my 90k was low. while youre in there, might as well replace all the front main seals and water pump. it will save you another headache down the road. cant wait to see the progress. INTERIOR SHOTSSSS!
