Weird, I made a post, but it still shows Mr. Anderson's post as being last. I was receiving internal errors all over the place haha.

The Lexus IS F looks so much better. I can think of a lot of other cars I'd rather have for the money than the new GTR.

I'd have to disagree, they lost me with the faux tips.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, maybe it will grow on me like the Mk V GTIs.

I'm in the same boat. While I'm not a big fan of the new IS's to begin with, the quad stacked fake tips just scream cheap to me. It's disappointing to look behind those big ovals and see four pea shooters. But whatever Lexus...whatever.

Finally saw my first R35 GTR today at, guess where, a used car lot. Albeit the guy deals with consignment vehicles and brokers for the latest and hottest news cars.

Although the performance aspects of the new GTR are undeniable.

                  ITS TO FUCKING UGLY

                  both inside and out,

                  for me at least.

I'd rather spend $70K on a used, unreliable, British, Aston Martin DB7.

I think if I ever justified spending that much on a car, I'd be going more for aesthetics than anything, IMO, for that much its more than likely got more performance than I'm ever capable of using.

There was a GTR at our dealership today, a couple of older guys were driving it. I almost blew my wad right there.

I got beside one on an open stretch the other day, I even honked lightly 3 times to see if he would open it up a little....haha, he drove like a grandmother, cant blame him it still had the drive out tags. My wife commented that the brakes are the size of my rims :)

I would push that car around hard but they arent marketing it. I saw it on leno's online show and nissan said that they are doing everything they can to keep you from modifying it. Jap cars are known for modding. If they screw you for taking it to the track they arent standing behind their product..........

I thought that was only in Japan?

                                agree,

and Astons depreciate so quickly I'll probably be able to afford one of these in another 10 years:
