Amber and clear? different, but not necessarily better than what I had?

And yes, I did a big dusty tail-slide on my way out of this lot....:tsk:

Go smoked clears but leave the amber side markers.

Never thought I'd say it, but the clears actually don't look bad on that color (avusblau, yes?) Although I wouldn't mind seeing how it'd look with ambers front and rear.

          * Smoked on Avus, puke.

I won't go back to amber tails, never liked how they look. To many colors on one lamp assembly.

They look and feel awful on the inside. Drive a few hundred of them and you're soooo over them.

G6's interior quality is even higher than E36. Doesn't get good IMO until E46 ZHP for 3 series, and E90 FTW

For me, when I sit in an E36 it just FEELS like a big car.

That makes sense, to compare the interior of a G6 and an E36, there's like what? only 14 years of model development between them?

Then again, I'm sure a 92' Pontiac Grand Am was light years ahead of the E36 at the time as far as materials and fit and finish.

                  Very insightful post. very entertaining.

Any more nuggets of knowledge for the peanut gallery?

I suppose after driving a few hundred...

I drove Jordan's mom's M3 several times, and a few others, they're fun for the most part. I just like a nice, cleanly modded one.

The ambers look alot better on the front.

What? can't take a little constructive criticism of your comparative reasoning skills?

I agree. I really liked the yellow high beams though, to bad they looked funny with the amber right next to them.

Are those standard offset Style 5's? Am I missing something? I'd love to run a set of those on the E30 with my E36 M3 suspension stuff..

                            Let me know please! Thanks.

Car is bad ass by the way. Makes me miss my M3, that thing was great. I guess a twin cam E30 is faster, but it's hard to beat the E36 package for a daily driver.

Wow, you weren't kidding when you said you were gonna switch them.

I'd go back to the yellows, but smoke on the corners. But that's just me, i love yellow.

Yep, +20 all around, I think they fill up the arches nicely, if I can get the front an inch or two lower I'll have the perfect stance, to me at least.
