They were new, 105.00 delivered from eBay. I got really lucky. They are exactly what I wanted, a little lower, a lot firmer.
Ah fer fucks sake... A guy from Seattle is offering $125 for used ones, with something like 86,300 miles on them... It sounds like I shouldn't buy them anymore.
Also, I heard results of a 1.25" drop in the front and 0.75" drop in the rear, wasn't on a cabrio though, on a coupe... Hmmm...

It's not that much drop, and they are very soft. You can find used H&R's and Eibach springs for $125-150, a much better idea. You need to upgrade your shocks either way.
Looks better, how's the ride? just curious why didn't you use cabrio springs?

Ummm... he had cabrios springs. Then he put springs FROM an M3 onto his car.
My question is why didn't he use cabrio specific "Lowering" springs... Of course M3 springs will fit but they weren't designed for a heavier car and I wanted to know how it handle.

Hmm... I heard that if you do the M3 springs, it's not too necessary to swap up the struts. I was looking at the Eibach pro kit springs, but I know for sure that I have to get new struts with the Eibachs. I just wanted a cheaper way of lowering my car, so that why I went with looking into the M3 springs.

It handles great, the drop is perfect & it is much stiffer so I am no longer scraping. The main issue was scraping on the millions of speed bumps that are here instead of sane drivers. I did not want to lower the car as much as I wanted it to be stiffer the 3/4 inch drop is a bonus.

I'm not sure I would even consider M3 springs as "lowering springs" as they hardly lower the car at all.
I picked up some Tokico 60mm drop springs on Roadfly for $100. They'd slam a 325. Just look on some classified sites..

Well, I only want something like a 1.25" drop in front and 0.75" drop in the rear, maybe a little bit less. I heard results of that from M3 springs and I don't want too harsh of a ride either... (Yeah, I'm being picky), however, it sounds like those results don't always happen. I better reconsider my plans of M3 springs now, haha...
I would get Eibach pro kits with Bilsteins, but the price is a little bit much for me... I better hold off on it for now then.

Sounds like you want the M3 springs; they'll accomplish just that.
