M3 springs & Bilstein Tourings are in!!!

Man the struts are a freaking hassle to deal with! The pos compressor I got from eBay sucks! @ss!!!!!!

I took the struts to a shop near my house, for 150 (about 12.50) pesos they R&R'd the one I didn't try on & replaced the one I messed with until I gave up.

Its firmer by a large margin lower by a little (3/4 inch) and it's no longer bottoming on every speed bump (there are 1,000,000 here)

The kids took the camera on their "last fun of the summer" trip. As soon as they get back I will take pics & post them.

you guys have easy as pie front struts.. try having a drivehshaft to pop out of yours, with a 32mm hub nut torqued to 240ft-lb that has to be removed first!

the car looks good, enough drop to get rid of fender gap but still keep a nice ride and be able to drive on shitty roads.

Thanks that was exactly my goal & the differance is huge!

I no longer bottom on every speed bump (the Mexocan solution to drivers that do whatever thay want) they are literally on every raod in the city at least every 3/4 mile. plus because of the use of shitty materials & lots of rain there are potholes everywhere. (some the size of a crater)

How are the front struts a hassle? I just did a complete suspension swap for Luke last night in 1.75hrs. New struts, shocks, and springs all around.

Using a spring compressor in the first place is just silly. Seriously. You should only use it on the rear springs if you cannot pry them out. On the front just have someone hold the spring and impact gun the nut off. Works 100x faster then a spring compressor, and if someone is holding the spring it goes NOWHERE. Its perfectly safe.

Ditto what Jordan said, I can do E30 and E36 suspensions front and rear in about an hour an a half now.

Its dangerous and stupid not to use a spring compressor on front struts with stock springs.

No it not. It's completely safe unless you are an idiot.
