Saw my first Nissan GT-R

Holy hell that thing is nice. Got passed by a charcoal one yesterday on the highway. I sped up to it in my 78 320i and paced with it for a while trying to check it out, and some hot chick in white sunglasses looked my car up and down and started laughing. Ouch...

I don't like them at all. I saw a bunch in Japan, and they really don't look any better in person. I think it was a huge step down from the R32/3/4 in terms of looks. I mean they aren't horrible, but they look too much like a concept IMO, there's just too many little designer ideas than should have been phased out in the final stage.

looks-wise, the r33 is by far my favorite.

+1. R34 wasn't bad either. The new one, IMHO, looks better than the pics, but it just doesn't flow that well... and it's way too heavy. The R34 was heavy enough and had enough gadgets to make a good driver fast without making a bad driver overconfident. Plus, the TT 6-cylinder was totally awesome.

Welcome to 6 months ago. Ive been seeing those in L.A. for a while now. R34 is my favorite. Stop me if this sounds familiar but, this new one is too big. Its a fucking monstrosity.

uhhh. No. I have no problem with "asian" cars. I think it looks cool and its really fast, and has lots of newfangled cool gizmoes and gadgets but I also think it sucks that it only comes in automatic, and it looks fucking gigantic in person.

it doesn't have a stick? Wow no wonder people hate this thing. I love its looks and all, but its obviously just a marketing scheme by Nissan. the "heart" of the automobile is slowly dieing.
