It's a fast, huge, mildly-ugly japanese car. Porsche claims they cheated in their "record" run on the 'Ring, either way, I would fucking drive one!!

If you need the warranty that bad you probably shouldn't be buying a GT-R in the first place. It's the same with BMWs. People manage to scrounge up just enough to afford a 550i or a 6 series and then bitch and argue and try to get absolutely everything done for free because they really can't afford to own such a car in the first place.

Disclaimer: No I can't even come close to affording a GT-R and probably never will. That doesn't mean I can't like it.

You know it! GT is responsible for my love of anything cars basically.

C10s are fucking awesome. I parked next to one at lunch one day before I knew they even existed. I thought it was just a badass 510 until I saw the emblems. I'm serious, and it was 100% real.

As I said I saw like 5 in Tokyo, and to be honest, I was much more excited to see this, and they're probably less than 20k in Japan.

There's plenty of others I was more excited to see, but that would require it's own thread...

While that is somewhat true, if you factor in repairs to the cost of the car sans warranty, you're adding on a LOT of extra money, whether you can afford it or not, its stupid that they charge you extra to drive it the way it's meant to be driven.

Marketing scheme? You're kidding right? They've been making Skylines since 1957 and GT-Rs since 1969. You're just seeing all this advertising and crap because this is the first in the US.

I love the R33, but I think the R32 is my favorite. Nicer to look at.
Not that I care, of course.

keiichi tsuchiya starred in these movies in the early nineties where they drove R32's around. So fun to watch..

For a car being marketed as an "affordable" (81k MSRP) supercar, 15k transmissions that seem to be on the same replacement interval as brake pads would be something I'd like to have a warranty on.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

basically I'd never buy the new GTR

If I had enough money, it'd be a bad idea, and if I was loaded I'd never even consider it because it is ugly and I'd hate the attention from douchebags

Haha, I'll get to working on it, it shouldn't be too hard since I posted it on other forums I think.

God damn photobucket! My sig keeps disappearing...

EDIT: Here ya go. Didn't get any GTR pics, even though I saw 5. Not for lack of trying though
