I figured out how to make the eta fast!

Crazy batshit fast yo! Go out and buy a late 70's or early 80's vw diesel, I chose a caddy but I'm sure any will do, drive it for a couple hours, around town and on the freeway, then go drive your eta. It feels so fast!

And conversely if you want it to feel much slower than it already does, do this: Find a 300+ hp american pseudo-muscle car, in this case I chose a 2000 camaro SS, drive that around for a couple days, then go take your eta for a spin, mash the gas getting on the freeway or something wait for it.....nothing, you got nothing.

Your title had me thinking you drove it off a cliff or something.

No sir, you just learned how to make it "feel" fast.

          Big difference. ;)

            I like my eta

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

I don't really see whats NOT to like about the eta.

I'd pimp one. Heck, when I get back to the US I'd like to pick one up as a DD.

                Who cares if its slow?

the worst feeling is riding a super sport bike all summer long and then hopping into any e30, eta or i (excluding bewsted bimmaz).

I drove around in my festiva beater then drove the eta. It's felt like a fucking jet.

Nah. I sold my R6 so I could build my E30.

Although next summer, or the following spring, I plan to add an 848 back into the mix. Then I'll have a sportbike, E30, and DD beater than I don't have to worry about getting scratched/banged up/etc.

I agree, gets great gas mileage, keep it 4x4, run shit over without making funny faces....because at the end of the day... its an ETA.

My eta was my dd when i turboed my e28,it had a chip ,air filter ,exhaust etc, then when i got to drive my 535i it was like a rocket, then when i went back to driving the eta it was so disappointing i immedeitely went to installing a m30b35. But the eta motor was very strong and my wifes 325i automatic m20 was at 300,000 miles and getting tired,so i put it in there with the 89 325i stuff and it runs great, pulls good at low rpms around town, feels way better then the old worn out "i" motor did.
