    Might be a repost but I want to build one in an e30 right now.

    Cant wait till their is a motor that I can buy that has everything it needs and just a few wires and of course last 300+miles before charge or whatever!

                    I wonder what the cost is compared to a engine swap, batteries, cables, controllers, etc.

                      Fair question - the batteries would be the single greatest expense of such a conversion - especially if you go the lithium route. This cars' performance is impressive in the "point & shoot" spectrum, but I wonder how well it would do as a road course machine (with the proper set up, of course). Running it hard all the time would discharge the batteries pretty quickly.

                            That its awesome. It would alctually work well for road racing too just because it is lighter and all of teh compunents can be mounted later.
