When I first started freelancing as a graphic designer, I needed a name, so I came up with Mk7, like the Lincolns. It incorporated my name and a "lucky" number. Visually, mk7@earthlink.com isn't balanced, so I tried markseven@earthlink.com, which proved to be more aesthetically pleasing. Most people think it's a Biblical reference, but it wasn't at first ;)
