Ive got my gas receipts folded up and stuffed in the side of my vents to keep them in place, they were all loose and just felld down. I used some bailing wire for an exhaust hanger for a week. I think thats all

its not the "poorest" thing. its the most economical

my front valence was completely spray painted (looked pretty good) and zip ties held it onto the front end. then, copper wire strung through the front was the wireing for my foglights.

when i couldnt find my screws to hold my dust shield under the motor, zip ties held that on very well.

i had the same vent problem as u guys, same fix also.

im sure there's more, but my hangover is hindering my memory.

Did you actually get the balls to go in there and fix it? I still haven't yet... I think I found the fix though.

I filled the loose cup about halfway w/JB Weld, then pressed it onto that ball and allowed it to set overnight.

It's been 2 weeks now, and they still work like a charm and it doesn't show any signs of loosening. :) I think it just forms around the ball and essentially makes a new ball cup.

JB Weld is the shit. I saw a guy use it on the output shaft of the tranny when it broke (it was on this shitty old ford windstar he used for hunting and hauling the carcasses of dead deer). It actually held together for like 9 months or something crazy like that.

My ghetto rigs? I have mismatched screws all over, zip ties holding the right front fender lining in, super-glue holding the shift knob down since it kept popping off, black caulking filling in the MASSIVE cracks in my dash (at least I'm actually replacing that with a new dash), electrical tape on the intake boot where it cracked open and was vacuum leaking, coat hanger holding up the K&N Filter (kept sagging down - and that's what cracked my intake boot). I think that's about it.

              Hey Dan!

Could you show me some pics of your tint job? I would love to see it. I want to smoke my sidemarkers and signals as well. I was going to use model tint spray, but the film sounds SOOO much easier. What film did you use? Details on how you did it?

              THANKS

oh yeah my shift knob doesnt have any set screws so i tried glueing it down but every now and then i shift into 2nd or 4th and off it comes. I tried cutting some longer screws and then putting a slit in one end to screw it in but that didnt work. I tried lots and lots of tape and then a rubber mallet to smash it down but that only worked for a while, it just spins around on the lever now. Ill have to fix it sometime but i dont want to.

Also my Glove Compartment door is screwed up and if i hit a bump on a highway (PA roads suck) down it comes, one time the entire ECU came down because we never secrued it after the rebuild so my friend was sitting there holding it up for like 35miles until i found a sears and got some velcro tape.

The leather on the original shift nob started to disintegrate and because of that there were a couple sharp points that hurt my palm when I shifted. SO i went out and bought a little leopard print fuzzy dice from wall mart, cut a corner off, pulled the stuffing out, slipped it over the shifter and taped up the bottom with black e tape. :) Lots of fun for almost a year. :) 99 cents

It's a bitch to get your hands in there, and because of the tight squeeze you can't get much leverage. But just press them in. Enough pressure and they should pop in.

Yeah, I've got the part to do it, I just don't want to pull all that stuff apart.

My center air vents are loose and they'll never aim upwards. I put a piece of paper under each one of them to hold them in place.

Oh and my sunroof leaks when I'm washing my car ( I would figure because I may press down on the sunroof while washing the roof and water gets through somehow ).... so I put a really big old cloth in the interior so it doesnt get wet.

I was preparing to pull the blower motor and its entiring housing so I could completely remove the wiper motor, but then Brew tried just reaching in and pulling the old linkage arm out, and putting the new one in. It worked. All you need to remove is the passenger side wiper arm, plastic air vent, then the old linkage arm. As long as you can get your whole hand into small space that's available, there should be just barely enough room to squeeze the new arm into place.

I'll have to remember that when reparing mine.
