Been there before....I feel your pain. I always set the DVR to record an extra 30 minutes past the normal broadcast schedule just to ensure I don't miss any race footage. Doing so certainly paid off today - the safety cars definately added some time. Be sure to do it for Suzuka next weekend....Japan's unpredictable weather could make it an interesting race.

Crucial point: If Button's result at Japan yields 5 or more points over Barichello's result, Button will claim the Driver's title.

Good work by Glock and Alonso. I imagine Sutil will get a grid penalty next time out. Bonehead move of him to pull out into traffic.

So, sounds like these seats are set so far:

    Ferrari
    Massa, Alonso

    McMerc
    Hamilton, Kimi

    Renault
    Kubica, ???

    Brawn
    Rosberg, Button (??)

    Red Bull
    Vettel, Webber

    Beyond that, sounds like it is a cluster f**k . . . .

Overall a very good race. Glock was consistant and pretty much error-free. An excellent drive for him.

Good race, but caught the middle of it. Hamilton walked away from everyone taking 1st followed by Glock and Alonso. Vettel, Button, Barrichello, Kovalainen and Kubica round out the point spots in that order. Heidefeld DNF'd by what I heard was a gearbox issue.

It was mentioned that the track surface was cleaned last year as apposed to this year, not to mention the fact that there was construction work being performed right next door, bringing dust and dirt on the track.

I noticed the bumpy behavior of the cars too. And to think the guys on Speed said some portions of the track had been repaved :!:

I'd hate to see how the Singaporians define "rough road".
