Sweet fucking mercy, what is meant to be gained by this? Now this screws Kubica, Heidfeld, Alosno, and a whole list of other who aren't McMerc of SF.

The FIA will single-handedly manage to ruin this sport.

Ferrari International Assistance is upset that Massa won one more race last year and didn't get the title.

        It's so fucking stupid.

I get this, 100%. But in my opinion that guy isn't the best driver. The best driver is one consistent enough to stay in the top of the points. I would much rather see a guy who got 2nd in every race win the championship, then a guy who got first 5 times, and DNF every other.

exactly... ahh this may sound a bit harsh, but i wish all the currnet FIA leadership would be fired and a new batch of realists be put in their place..... i was thinking of something way harsher to say.

the FIA wants more a British champion. Maybe this year Brawn will win with Button then all the rules will go back to 1997.

They just had a damn British Champion. And everyone know either there will be the 2nd German champ soon or the 1st Polish champ. At least thats what I want. Whether it is Vettel, Glock, or Heidfeld for the German I don't care hahaha. Maybe Barichello would be cool too.

I'm not buying into all the Brawn GP hype yet.

they look good. we have only another week to find out.

another part of me thinks that McMerc being out of the way will make this a race between the two in red. good for me, but it gets boring.

They look good, but I wonder if there is something else, like fuel load or something affecting their pace.

Either way I hope its real as I'm Button fan.

Massa has said that Ferrari and several other cars were running light fuel loads and Brawn GP001 was still beating them all. He didn't know if they were running ballast or not but didn't see why they wouldn't be running it.

Call me a Brawn GP skeptic, but why would other drivers/teams be disclosing this much information to the press? I mean, I know there's no arguing with results, obviously the Brawn GP cars are performing more consistently than the rest of the field. But, ordinarily, teams are very tight-lipped about those sorts fo scenarios, they usually say something to the extent of "we have some issues and we're trying different setups to counter them" or something along those lines. I've heard a number of drivers saying "well those Brawn GP cars are just too fast, oh well."

Pre-season testing (even without in-season testing in the equation) means dick, we'll find out just how solid everyone's cars are in a little over a week.

And I'm fucking pumped for this season barring the stupid championship rules. Can't wait to see the Abu Dhabi circuit.

Looks like the FIA got overruled, or didn't read the rules so that stupid new point system isn't going to fly this season!!!
