I flew to Portland and drove it back down to the SF Bay Area. That's like what, around 700 miles?

I traveled all the way to germany for my e30,..... one day it will come back with me.
and traveled all the way to the U.S.A. and had my 1955 chevy sent here----so yeah I would travel pretty far for the right car.--

but if it was free, then I would want it delivered to me- or atleast driven halfway!

Well, I'm in indy and I bought mine out of Cali, sight unseen. I probably got lucky, but it was totally worth it. For the right price, I'd say anywhere.

I bought my dd sight unseen from Omaha, NE. It was well worth the $1100 I paid.

I live in upstate New York, and my last two BMW's have come from Pennsylvania (6 hours away) and North Carolina (13 hours away). Both driven back.

I'd travel anywhere for the right car - I love road trips, and rust free cars make the trips worth it. :)

I flew from Cleveland to Dallas for mine. Bought sight-unseen, save for the inspection at the shop.

The drive home was rough sometimes w/ no radio or cruise but that's all fixed now

I love my car. Totally worth the flight and the 1100 mile drive.

Mine was local but was moved 100 miles away to try and sell. went down and bought it and drove it all the way up like a 4000 ft difference while the temp gauge was borderline red and ran great, still runs great (cooling issues resolved) and strong. If I had the money then I would probably go anywhere for the right car.

I'd have it delievered to me. Even if it's a free rear windshield = win.

For the right car? Anywhere in the continental U.S. The road trip in a new-to-you car IS the best part.
