How bad is your MPG?

Engine temp... Don't run a cold thermostat.

Lazy or dead O2 sensor.

Worn out injectors.

Fuel Pressure too high.

I really do drive like I'm insane... and the M42 powed car gets better than 32 hwy.

325i like I sad 20-25 and thats combination street hwy.

so how should I be warming it up? I read having your car stand still idleing is wasting more gas then low-rev driving around the block to warm it up.

Then: 22 city/26 hwy w/ m20b25 5 speed (g260/3.73lsd)
Now: 25 city&hwy&racing w/ s52b32 5 speed (zf/2.93lsd)

^ - Pretty sure I could get better mileage if I stay off the gas pedal.

M20B25 with 337,500 with 10,000 on rebuilt head, K&N Filter, Gutted Air Box, MSD Blaster Coil and Magnaflow Cat/Muffler. I get 22.8 City and 30.2 Highway at 70 MPH. This is with an automatic trans too!

well I get about 200 - 250 miles to the tank, figuring it's a 16gallon, I get anywhere from 12mpg to 15.5mpg. Shitty

my car has been running like crap .. with black suttt covering basically the whole rear end ....
