    don't do ebay...

Try UUC or any sleeved lines which are DOT.

StopTech makes an E30 kit that looks nice, can't remember who sells it now.

Maybe offcambermotorsports.com or something, I've got a set of UUC lines waiting to go and they seem decent enough.

Stick to brands like Goodridge and UUC to preserve the DOT rating for street use. Many no name kits are "off road use only." The real El Cheapos on eBay typically don't have a very high level of quality. They could leave you liable if a sharp investigator discovers them on your car after an accident.

Don't look up the stoptech kit then, even more expensive then the UUC kit which I thought was reasonably priced.

YOu think custom made lines will be cheaper?

True, and Korman lines are made by a shop that DOT certifies them... but they're not sleeved. I ran their line set, and after 1.5 years, front passenger line started leaking... I am currently running Turners (but wanted UUC).

make sure you get a 6 line kit. there are lots of places only selling 4 lines...

any decent set is going to be in the neighborhood of $100. i think UUC were $90 or something when I got them. My old IE's were $65 and lasted a long time, but I didn't want to wait for one to break so I replaced them.

Hmmm. This thread delivers good information. Researching Bimmerworld, Turner Motorsport, and said companies kits.

Has anyone purchased lines from Ebay seller coastguard1975. i know its Ebay and i know brakes are not something to cut corners with. however, They are DOT compliant with PVC sleeves and the seller has excellent feedback.

                              what do ya think?
