Probably too late now, but I used Submersible-rated Gates 27097 (3/8" ID) for that interposer hose.
I converted to an Aeromotive 340 Stealth In-Tank Fuel Pump and eliminated the external pump.

It's rated for 100psi and ethanol.

Not too late, and much appreciated. I bought a length of J30R10 hose so my guy could use it on the Deatschwerks pump and convert the existing Walbro as a backup (which might be useless as I have a lot of confidence in the Deatschwerks pump - it looks extremely well-executed, but the Walbro and the assembly are already in-hand).

I've had the E30 back for several days, and it's driving great. I haven't gotten the pix from my shop of the Deatchwerks pump in the assembly, but will post when I get them.

        Really enjoying the car!

I've gotten the brakes as clean as the wire brush and ultrasonic cleaner are going to get them. Going to sand them and get as close to paint-ready as possible...

(things are going really slow as there's a lot of life going on - my progress might be limited if my buddy wants help debugging his E24 too 😅)
