yea, it wasn't my first choice of car, but I do like E21's and I couldn't beat the price. I really wanted something like an E28 or one of those mark II yota wagons like in that thead linked in the previous post... but people with little money can't be too picky. Basically, I wanted a platform that was Right Wheel Drive as opposed to Fail Wheel Drive (I almost hate fwd as much as I hate auto trannys), and it had to look like it was worth working on... this car fit the criterea for me, the core support is the only thing that really discourages me, and that's only because it's going to be a bitch to get a hood to fit as well mounting a grill and headlights.

as far as it not being an E30, what about all the E36's on here? and that rusted E28... which pisses me off by the way, letting such a great car rot like that... josh told me it was a little rough since it was "totalled", but still... come on. give that car to me if it means that little to you.


it will be a while, but I will definately keep you all posted on the progress once it happens. My latest toyota modifiacation is taking longer than expected, and I want to get that dialed in before starting on the car. Since I have 2 other vehicles, and I've been doing so much to my toyota lately, the car is on hold... but not to worry, euros in the valley gave me motivation for the car.

I wouldnt mind a E21. It wont be hard finding a front end in the junk yard or on another forum. A euro front end with euro bumpers would look sweet on the e21.

yea, I do fabricate allot of metal, I've been working on a rock crawler toyota pickup for the past year and a half. I might end up just buying a front clip or something from another E21 to fix the car with more ease and be able to actually get a hood to fit.


and yea, free is a great price, I'm pretty happy I got it.

Just scored some free coil overs off a white trash ricer sentra at the junk yard yesterday, I think I can make them work on this car.

so, I found a much better E21 for $250, it also doesn't run, but it hasn't hit a deer and the paint isn't that bad... everything about it is better. So I will probably pick that up tomorrow or the next day and soon after strip hoppy (the black one depicted in this thread) down to nothing... I'll keep as much as I can off of it, I may be selling some M10 stuff soon.... and yea, poor old hoppy is going to the junk yard. I'll get pics of the new E21 up as soon as I can, I has no pics.
