Progressive is a bitch to fight with when it comes to stuff like this. If they say its worth 1522 then you should tell them you think its worth more and your not going to settle with that. Im sure they will tell you that you have till such and such day to decide or they are not giving you anything. Then you ask to talk to there insurance commisioner and tell him you dont think your being treated fair.

When I switched the title on my 91 a year ago, the liscensing people were trying to clip me for $3500. Heck I didn't pay near that much, so I had to fill out an affidavitt for all the damages and things that needed replacing and have the previous owner sign it as well. I even had the Craigslist ad with me, that wasn't good enough. Money grubbin pukes.
Of course if I were to total it I know I wouldn't get near that much.
