Out with the old, in with the-- nope, still old

look at this before asking a question please:

first of all, the front of the car will be lowered by the time the picnic comes along, after i roll the fenders. second of all, my hood is green because i let it sit outside in oregon for too long, and since everything in oregon is green, it just rubbed off onto it. it's like a crazy fungal algae that can be used as a chalkboard.

    other stuff:
    Style 4's (originally from the e38 750's)
    ET23
    16x8
    5x120
    72.56CB
    225/40-16 Toyo T1R tires
    E36 M3, 318ti 5-lug
    M Coupe H&R Coilovers
    VW MKIII front lip
    South African plastic bumper swap

I think I got it covered.

For the sake of keeping this thread interesting, please leave only VERY positive comments, or VERY negative comments.

    thanks,

Those wheels are weak.... Definitly a disappointment to your five lug set up.

With some paintwork (hood, front valence, etc.) and the 16" Style 5's, I'd totally dig that car. The Style 4's are nice wheels, but it needs more of a drop to pull it off IMO. Any truth to the 332is badge?

TexasTerp, note the color of the actual bumper itself. Many some euro late model cars had that, I guess SA cars had it too.

Love the wheels. They look so proper on your car! :pimp:

I'd say refinish them in a slightly darker color to really make them pop. Either that or refinish in silver. 8)

South African PB cars came stock with black plastic bumpers, with color matching being a factory option.

That is a sick looking car sir, I applaud you! But I do like the stage two wheels a lot better.

thanks. i did the hood b/c the paint is really terrible on my car, which doesnt really show through in the pics. my friend offered to paint it for me with paint he had, so the green was free.

the weaves look nice but i've always really liked the style 4's just a little bit more.

i have the caps, but they are in pretty terrible condition, so i haven't bothered to put them on. i might put them on just to see.

he was staring at me so i figured i would take pics of him. i wanted to ask him whether mobbin 4 deep included the driver or not, but he was too far away.

the whole car needs to be painted, for sure. the pictures make it look way nicer than it is. it is also keyed in a few spots. someone even keyed "FUCK ME" into the RR quarter panel. the car will have more drop once i roll the fenders fully. i'll update this thread with moar pics. i'm also getting one of those newfangled skidplate things and new exhaust (currently have no muffler, used to be e36 m3 exhaust).

edit: and yes, there is much truth to the 332 thing.

you read my mind. i think they would look awesome with a slightly darker, yet glossy finish. the wheels look pretty nice in the photos, but really need a refinishing. there are no bends at all which is nice, but way more curb rash than my style 5's.
