The v8s are practically at a 90 degree angle, strut towers on e30s wouldn't be to keen on that one.
I was going to do a v12 E34, but this m3 came up that i couldn't pass up, and i later heard from somebody my dad knows who just did an m70 e34, and said he wouldn't do it unless he was paid $40,000, it was that much of a bitch.

v8 fits between the struts perfectly fine.
the headers hit the frame rails, thats the bigger problem.

BTW Ryan, what size tires are you running? Those are 16" wheels, correct?

Yes. 245/45r and 225/45f I think. I check when I go to get my car today. I know the widths are right but the 245 might be 40 sidewall.

No 245/40R16 tires exist. But everyone knows how I feel about oversized tires. Love the meaty look.

Then they must be 45 series. :D

It probably adds to the rake of the car. I will probably go to the 225s all around on the SSRs, the tighter sidewall is a bit better on the track and worth the tradeoff in contact patch.

Hopefully I'll have her back on the road Wednesday at the latest.
