My M20 turbo on Full Sequential Injection (Dyno-Pics & Vids)

Finally, made my Haltech E11v2 run on my m20 turbo but in full sequential mode, instead of the semi sequential/multipoint or even batch mode. The ilde is pretty smooth for the Schrick 288 cam it has.

The A/C compensantion for the RPM's is working very good, perhaps could be set bit better but it's tricky, I'm happy how it works.

The dyno session was for tune up. I used the stock spark plugs, the spark advance wasn't raised much but isn't conservative, although with colder spark plugs I should be able to give more advance.

I ran out of fuel due the 557cc injectors. I'm thinking to buy a new set, not sure if go with 850 or 1000cc low impedance (want good smooth idle) injectors and come back to the dyno and see what can do the m20 turbo, of corse thinking of these new injectors for the M50 NV engine that I will put later in my e30.

PLEASE: Forget about the AFR's in the dynochart, they are off by about 1.3-1.4 LEANER vs the LM-2 device (the dyno operator didn't fix it yet)

I'm kinda dissapointed for the 362 RWHP on full closed exhaust for the boost level, but that's what I got so far on a 145-150-155-150-150-155 PSI per cyl, setup and tune up. But more happy with 406 RWHP & 439 TQW

Thanks guys, I'm tryin gto pull more power from the same boost level, once I het the colder spark plugs and carefully raise the spark advance, watching my AFR's. I will report later once happen.

Thanks, not really, spreaded all over the old threads different stages of the build/upgrades, gone URL-links, etc.

You gain a lot of power with sequential injection vs batch?

                      Fuel?

I was up above it, Now I'm down in it ~ Entropy - A Build thread.

I love the Haltech. Good mate of mine was responsible for developing it and is now turning his attention to flash-tuning 135i BMWs...

No, but I gained more steadier idle, more consistent AFR's specially with the Schrick 288 camshaft wich is bit lumpy with stock DME but not with E11v2.

Fuel? 98 octane pump = 92 US octane rate.

How much does the idle rpm surge with this cam?

                            You still use the IAC?

Your power level was lower than expected because of your cam. I assume by "schrick 288" you mean the normal 288 intended for a naturally aspirated motor.

That has a COMPLETELY different profile than what you would use for a high power turbo motor; especially one running high boost. You want almost zero valve overlap for that kind of motor, whereas the 288 is going to have a ton of valve overlap. You're blowing a good bit of your A/F mix right out the exhaust. Put it on a sniffer and your HCs are probably insanely high once the turbo spools.
