Sweet car, Paladin!
The black headliner was an option in the 318is. My first 318is had a black headliner. I thought nothing of it when I summarily sent it to the junkyard. Then I found out the black headliner is rather rare.
I've never encountered a 318is with a double exhaust cutout either. The angle is all wrong on the rear valance. The car likely had an aftermarket exhaust installed at some point. The easiest way to check this is to see if there is a short, 4mm lip on the exhaust cutout. If it's missing, it was definitely modified at some point.
I wish the best of luck to you on your flip. Finishing every last detail will net you top dollar.

Tis' claimed lol sorry
The interior is indeed sexy, I'm going to try and trade it straight up for a euro houndstooth (same car I'm getting the euro valance from) in perfect condition. The owner is trying to take his German euro spec car. . . and make it completely US spec. . .

Profit doesn't mean taking advantage of, thanks for knowing the difference. It was a good business transaction. Now post more pics of your car and less of your sassy quips :D
