Looks fucking great Jasper! I'm loving the way ti looks with the DS2 wheels and meaty tires. Are your front springs cut at all? Seems damn low for IE3.

Also, I'm glad I stand corrected on the 318ti information, I was misinformed. Either way I sold my 318ti parts and swapped to M Coupe, lol.

Thanks! The dsIIs are temporary while I refinish my other rims. I'm borrowing them from a friend. Although I will be running 235/40/17s with my other rims. Just want a slight stretch on a 9" rim.

Yes, I cut 3/4ths of a coil on my springs 3 year ago when I was irritated by the reverse rake.

No problem about the 318ti parts correction. I've read many different things, and the only way I could find out literally was by doing it myself. I want m coupe stuff.

Looks great, but im curious about the rear shocks....aren't the e36 shocks too long for e30's? To the point where you'll be bottoming out on them frequently.

I still want to fab a 1inch spacer and reinforcement plate for safety. But for now, these work.

Haha. Shits low. But yea, need a tad bit more massaging on the right rear and its perfect. =) Thanks again Tony. Pleasure meeting you as well.

Looks pretty perfect Jasper. So with your DSII's you were able to fit 245's and 235's with the stock 41 offset right? cause when i was running the DSI's with my low offsets, due to adapters depth, I was rubbing a lot. I had to re-roll after all the rubbing it did going to Bimmerfest '09. Anyway, I only had 205's on my 17x7.5 and still had to remove the fender linings up front. It get's so filthy inside your fenders though, towards the door. I cleaned that up occasionally.

Really nice fitment though. Props. I love the body-colored I lip.
Do you plan on matching rocker panels and rear skirt?
Or Do you have plans of sourcing IS skirts?

You're so right. e36 M3 in an e3o shell. Fucking sick.

Its wednesday (free day), and I've finished my two front lips. I guess I'll unveil what I've been working on.

These are pictures of the fronts BBS RS 17x8 ET35 for my e36 m3 5 lug.

These rims were a bitch to wetsand/polish as the lip folds in then out because of the offset.

The rears are being worked on after I post this. Hopefully I get these on by Saturday.

Nice sand and polish job! 17x8 front and 17x9 rears? I probably missed the proposed specs... looks a-fucking-mazing. Great job and I'm excited about seeing them mounted up!

Yes 17x8 and 17x9 rears both e35. The centers haven't been sprayed yet, but that's the easy part. Anyone know the exact color of the original silver from the dealer that I could buy at autozone/kragen/paint store?

You can't believe how excited I am... but I'm also tired as hell. My shoulders are getting a work out.

I got this info. from CactusJack, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind me sharing it.

The closest match to BBS bright silver is Acura, Vogue silver, code NH583M.

Get your paint & materials at Senik Paint, Costa Mesa. In rattle cans, Get 2 cans of primer, 2 cans of UPOL clear & then a pint of the Acura base coat (take the number, it is a Dupont #). If you want, they can put the Acura color in rattle cans for you - a pint makes 6-7 spray cans.

                                Strip - primer - sand 400 - base coat - clear coat
                                .
