    bought a new BMW

Well an old one. its a 1961 R69S. Its a 10 year old resto thats only seen 1350 miles since completion. Ive wanted one of these for a long time and have been actively looking for several years for the right bike. I think this is the right bike. Especially in a soft market and the fact the owner really needed to sell it. Im tired of dumping tons of money into numerous builds and always losing my ass. So I figured Id cut a check for one already done and then tweak it a little to make it my own. I really fell in love with these after seeing sweet carls. But hes a prick and wouldnt sell me his. So I had to find my own. Its a blast to ride and gets tons of attention and comments wherever you stop on it. My wife convinced me to buy it as i was on the fence feeling a little irresponsible for spending money when it could have gone to more practical purposes. I put about 60 miles on it yesterday. Its really clean but i can see it will clean up even nicer with a few hours and some chrome polish.

and at home in my messy garage

no dude its a soft market. Nobody is buying i dont think. I got it for 8500. He told me he spent 16k restoring it 10 years ago. True or not i dont know. But I think its a solid bike that only needs a couple things to be perfect. First thing Ill do is loose the stainless braided fuel line. and then have the rear wheel trued. Its got a very slight wobble to it I didnt notice at first. its hardly noticeable but there

Blunt thats awesome man. I've had many dreams about owning one of those. I dont even ride. I really have no interest in riding either, except for one of these. No kidding about a soft market either! Thats a steal man.
