bought my first e30 for $500! Yes, it needs a little love.

It's an 87 325e. The previous owner replaced the internal fuel pump and fuel filter, it drove fine, and then started acting up again. I replaced the fuel pump relay and fuel pressure regulator and it's still acting funny. It doesn't want to start but some days it starts right up and runs fine. Sometimes it will start and idle for a few seconds and then die. I checked for vacuum leaks and couldn't locate any.

any ideas from the gurus? I appreciate the help!

Here's the car when I got it home (those wheels! )

and a shot of under the driver fender well, vogtland springs

1st priority was losing the green spray painted wheel center with more spray paint!

    interior cleaned up

I'll get some more pics the next time it feels like starting and I pull it out of the garage. Going to check the throttle position sensor!

the green doesn't stop at with the wheels and calipers. Some previous owner decided a green roundel and green oil cap to match would be a good idea. oh yeah, and a green shocker sticker in place of the deck lid roundel.

I'm pretty sure that's what he was going for. I'm slightly surprised I didn't find a 3 foot "M" monster decal on the hood.

Looks like a decent start. The wheels look pretty good all black.
