Came out from my friend's apartment and happened to notice this today. Not sure if it happened there or elsewhere today. Hit and run, lost my center cap too. FML.



Nothing too major I suppose. I'm more pissed about how disrespectful that other driver was than I am about the actual damage. Only a $250 deductible, that should be about right for a new fender and side marker (and maybe center cap?)

Yeah. The worst part is I cannot figure out wtf happened to my center cap. There is no damage around the fender arch, just the front corner/bumper. How did they knock my cap off and not fuck anything up? Also, did they pick it up and take it with them? WTF?

they prob just caught it slightly and it came off, or perhaps they hit your car so hard, it knocked it off. idk thats a good question. haha perhaps they will post an ad in the local paper saying "i hit your car and have your rim cap, come try it on" kinda like cinderalla story. anyhow, fix it yourself, itll save you money and prob get money in your pocket.

What a bummer. Mine's in the shop right now after nearly the same thing, except instead of causing maybe 200 in damage, they caused about 1,200 in damage (they backed into my car squishing the hood real bad, busting up the grill and marking the bumper all to hell).

Like you, OP, I was more angry at the fact they didn't leave a note (leaving me with the 500 deductible) than I was that my car was damaged.
