i *used* to go up to that area often when i was seeing my ex from up there, but i only drive by there during the winters on my way to Vermont.

installed a new fan last week, since the old one exploded (fan blades sheared off)...

just swapped out for a new ICV valve, hose and air pump valve....picked up a new trunk seal & rear vent seals.

Also freshed up my headlight rings....soaked them in laquer thinner to strip the old paint, etched primed & shot them w/ trim paint.

Right?!? I absolutely love that headunit....the settings it has is endless, and really woke up the stock premium speakers. Did u paint the surrounding trim matte black?

Sure! I used Prismatic Powders brand "Porsche silver". Had my powdercoater use a semi-gloss clear (not matte or glossy).

I feel like the e36 M3 deserves a place in the ranks of great M's, but the US version ruined it. The euro one was a real ///M engine, the motor is very closely related from the S54 (from what I've read) and it also came with a 6 speed.

well said. should add euro E36 M3 to the list. ironically, none of the newer M3s/M4s would fit that description. I want a REAL M motor dammit.

I'm glad I never let my M3 go last yr....almost did for a 997S, but these E46s are slowly becoming more sought after.
