I understand what you're saying, you're just not making any sense. I track all of my cars as well, thus I understand the importance of a good quality and well made wheel. It has nothing to do with rarity or cost, it's more safety than anything. It's like making a cage for your car out of fence post because you don't care about being baller.

You say you built the car for yourself, but you're getting super offended by the fact that I, some random guy, don't like 2 things about it, and chose to knock on my unfinished car as if it's some sort of representation of my integrity in it's current state.

    Get off your high horse.

holy god I thought this thread died a while ago. I'll read up and put in my 2 cents and I'll be starting a build thread soon.

        Welcome to have you.
I had maintained and built the rotary over 6~ years before she blew up on me. It actually lasted a lot longer than I thought it would. That being said, I had my fair share of problems, and it was enough for me to want to bail on the engine even after literally knowing every aspect of the 13B REW possible. After driving it for so long, having a lingering sensation in the back of your mind that the motor might have just exploded while you were under WOT was just not encouraging to any driver, let alone one who was experienced when it came to maintaining rotarys.

In addition to that, it was a DD during the summer :)
