Perfection. The RYs are seriously good looking on that car.

Car looks great. Those wheels are sweet. How about some euro bumper trim and smoked tails?

88 Dodge Aries was my first car in 89 ..LOL...

did you put the Falkens RT615s on yet? I am looking for any feedback on those tires, want to use them on a track.
BBS RY look very hot and if you are going to put the s14 in it more power to you!

PS always loved your compomotive rims (when you had them) !

vlad, I find that my Falkens (RT-215's) get way to greasy way to fast on the track, and I have stock M20 power. A car like yours needs R-comps, RA-1's I hear are nice and beginner friendly (that's what I am going with).

K3V: Like I said before, seriously awesome :D

            Keep it slideways!!

                Hey Vlad,

The Falkens are decent auto-x tires, but they really don't stand up to hard lapping. Axxe is right about getting greasy, but the 615s are better in that respect.

Depending on what brakes you have on your car and your experience level I would use tires in the following order:

                Kumho VictoRacer V700
                Yoko Advan A032R
                Yoko Advan A048
                Kumho ECSTA V710
                Toyo RA-1
                Hoosier R3S05

I still have the S14 and it eventually (hopefully) make it under the hood of this 318is.

Wow, I have never heard of/seen RY's before. They are hot. Do they make them in 4 lug?

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Thanks, and yes it came in 4 lug as well. It's a somewhat obscure VW wheel out there.

                        Looks great!!

I personally have a closer connection w/the BBS RGR. But the 5 lug conversion rocks!!

                          OT :
yeah, I got Advan A032R on my Porsche, but non of the tires you have mentioned come in 215/40/17 (I need to run that size for the front) except for the RT615

and everybody says that the RT615 is day and night difference compared to RT 215. Anyway, I still think these tires will hold up better on the track than my goodyear eagle F1 GSD3s
Thanks for the input thou !

                          back on topic ;)

For starters use a 235/40/17 up front (if not all the way around).

YES. thats going to be a seriously hot car.

i'm either going to go s14 or s50 w/ my car someday... the s14 would be great because it was designed for the chassis. but this thread isnt about my car. lol.

                              i <3 your car.

Well, the feeling is mutual. I think you've sorted out a really nice chassis.

I'm itching to get the drivetrain slotted in, but I have to weigh it against some other priorities right now.

Nothing quite like an S14 on AN.
