Ive got a better suggestion. Learn some tact. Thats like telling someone who just had a loved one die from cancer due to smoking "Well, the fucker shouldnt have smoked.... lesson learned, dumbass." Theres ways to say things, and ways to say things is all Im saying.

To OP. Im sorry about this. Ive gone through it a few times. It almost doesnt matter whose fault it is because you are angry and sad in either of the two circumstances.

Because the world isnt a perfect place and mistakes (however unbelievable it may seem) are made sometimes, and concentration lapses. It took me a similar incident to learn to keep lots of distance and always pay attention too. But then again. I have one of those "hit my head against the wall or touch the stove to learn its hot" kind of personalities. I insist on learning the hard way.

This was said constructively. All Im saying is lets keep the e-douchery to a minimum.

Don't tail gate, tail gating is bad. You rear end people when you tail gate.

I know it well too. Never had an accident until last year in my beater E30.

How many times do you glance away from the road??? Look at speedo, look at radio, look at cell phone, look at the pic of naked blunt taped to the back of the sun visor.....

All it takes is one of those split seconds and traffic ahead of you slamming on their brakes and bam. Shit happens.

Don't be so hard on yourself. I remember i was so freakin pissed for weeks. Just let it go, its done.

So you don't think you can fix that??? I don't see the pass side but from that angle; hood, rad support, lights, fender(s)

UPDATE: so to add insult to injury, last night, when my car was at the lot, something happened, and it caught on fire and burned to the ground. i have no idea what to do. The guy at the garage accused me of being responsible, and doing something while cleaning my belongings out of the car.

They are sending investigators to the shop today, but im completely out of the loop. What should i do?

Come to my house, smoke out my room, listen to some dubstep, go on craigslist and buy another before the sun sets.
