I'll agree with you on having the Nürburgring, but cheap cars? Taxes and the prices on cars in general are much higher in Germany compared to the US... not to mention our gas prices...

Edit: Just noticed that you're from Norway... in which case yes, cars are cheap in Germany.. :)Comment

Hehe, the only thing we are good at is adding zeros on the car prices. If I want to import an E30, I have to pay more for the license plate then the car.Thanks...

I was surprised by the gas prices when I drove to germany for vacation this summer. The gas prises were pretty similar in Norway, Denmark and Germany.Comment

That car is absolutely beautiful - love it.

Haha you guys in the USA are drooling over the fact you are seeing a 1 Series hatch.... I'm drooling over seeing a 1 Series 3-Door hatch!

We get the hatches here in Australia but only the 5 door hatches! :(Leo.

 omg so awesome!

if you are going to change it, it will probably lose value if you make it into an alpina clone. i would suggest simply buying an original sport suspension setup to match your alpina wheels and call it done! Comment
