wasnt just AFI lol, the mars volta, circa survive, saosin, underoath (meh, but the screaming helped ease our frustration) and even a little celine dion...
and TJ-
i was a complete and utter newb when i went into this swap, so was my buddy. and in many aspects i still am, but given the tools i had, (impact wrench that was borrowed, 4 jackstands, 2 jacks and 4 concrete blocks, various socket wrenches and my friends e36 haynes manual) 40 hrs was about right... we took our time and did it right. there were many hiccups, like getting the passenger rear trailing arm off, as one of the bolts hits the gas line... many trips to home depot and pep boys were made for various tools.
basically i have never done anything like this before. this is the hardest thing i have ever done on a car... so time wasnt my concern.
my weekend work schedule:
friday - 10am to 4
saturday - 8am to 1am
sunday - 8am to 12
monday - 8am to 1
the only breaks we took were for pizza and energy drinks / sodas.
it would have been so much easier if i could have dropped the subframe, but that wasnt an option.
