MIRACLE!! CAR RETURNS let the healing begin

Amazingly I got my car back, only 3 months and 7 days later. I took it to the dealer directly so they can assess the damage and the jackass can pay the maximum. Here are the pictures:


Amazingly the smily's lense didn't break! it folded under and is intact. (the bucket though is toast :(






The dealer says I can take it on Wednesday so that's when the repair will begin.

June 10th on my way to pick up my wife, driving down a large two lane road (plus a parking lane) I approached an intersection with a small cross street, an 18year old kid without a license, in a P.T. cruiser drove across my path at so high a rate of speed that he was hitting me before I knew he existed.

The car has been impounded while the Justice system decided he was 100% at fault and (in theory) both cars were impounded until the judge ruled. He bribed someone and has had his car back long enough to have it fixed and have it back for over three weeks (I know because it was at a body shop near my house).

The judge made him pay over 3k as a guaranty to my damages. (he had the choice of jail)

I am reasonably sure there is frame damage. I have the Caroliner specs & found a shop with a Caroliner.

How can you total a 15 year old car with 53k? and it has not been on the frame machine yet so it is not a fact that it has frame damage.

The car is still only worth $5-6,000 for all intents and purposes.

Maybe to you, I have seen cars in the condition this car WAS in (perfect) in & out go for 8-10k to the right person & as my family indends now to keep it it will remain perfect.
