I vote for the "it could be good" route. Take the car, clean up all the things it needs taken care of, wash and wax it, and take some better pictures. I don't know who is saying the E36 seats fit but it's true, they'll come up 6" or more over the factory rear speaker shelf.

Electric Blue > Estoril blue. Yeah, I said it.

Car needs some wild style to keep up with the color, whoever said it doesnt fit right now was right. Although I didnt like Randy Sparre's car with the right setup that color can be hot on about any vehicle.

The Si badge is ubergay though. Especially since it would probably lose to one right now. Just debadge and when you eventually do the swap just enjoy people not knowing what it is.
      Im now E30less.

I don't think we went over what kind of car this is. 318is? When you are a lazy typer nobody wins.

The color is ok; wouldn't do it myself though. Looks very unfinished currently with body damage/missing lip.

ok thanks for everything so far
i was just putting up a picture to see how everyone liked it
the color i'm working on toning it down a little but it does look better in person.
the SI badge thing good idea but i'm thinking more of a vtec tuning sticker for REAL POWER
i know the front looks bad with the damage done and no front lip
this is a PROJECT CAR, it just needs some TLC to get it looking good
            it is not a 318is it's a 325is yes 5-speed so it's kinda quick.
mike i love that plate said to hear that it came off of a total car though.. :(

I like the color and your mods list sounds great. Keep working towards your goal and enjoy your car. Ignore the nabobs of negativism, they want you to react.

by having those black pieces freshly painted hopefully the color will be easier on the eyes and you won't focus on just the blue part of the car.

Well I don't mean to be rude or anything but so far there just isn't much to look at. The car is really dirty, and in fairly poor shape, and uninspiring photography. It's lowered and has bright paint, but thats about it.

What he said. It's a typical E30 with alarmingly vivid paint, drawing even more attention to its imperfections.

You sound like a good guy with decent plans, but for now the car is what it is.
