I must say that I like it, and as long as you like it, its all that matters, but for sure needs to be lowered. Good Job!.

 Thanks for the complements.

For anyone who is wondering how the paint has held up.
It still has a nice color and hasn't faded but it has gotten 2 very small paint chips on the trunk lid.Comment

I've been thinking about it but I probably wont. I'm planning on repainting it in a year or two and clearing it now would just mean more sanding later; the next paint job will have a clear though.Comment

I couldn't care less if you painted it with house paint and a brush. Bottom line is you saved another one from the crusher, which is awesome regardless.

I kinda dig it though. If it was me I'd do a drop, shadowline trim, tucked satin black bumpers, some aggressive wheels and call it done.'84 318i - Lapisblau/Schwarz (in cryosleep)

Turned out good, should spend a little more time on that rear quarter panel, i'm sure you can get it perfect with a little time. Anyways. Long live rattle canned E30's, which reminds me, i need to re-spray mine.1991 325i - "Scambles" The Daily Driven lightly modded.

Just wondering how you got the two chips in the rear...did you sand and primer before you sprayed? So the paint has something to hold onto.. Comment

I sanded the whole car but only primed over bare metal and bondo. I would have primed the whole car but I only had so much time/money set aside for this.
One of the chips is more of a scratch and the other one I'm not certain what caused it.Comment

It has tons of potential. A hearty drop and some cooler wheels would make it something special. Keep on going with it. I like it so far, it just needs a little here and there. :)-Nick Originally posted by 87e30First of all: calm the fuck down; second of all; cool story bro. Yep, I know what you mean. But I can't justify spending money on the car until I get another job, especially since the stock suspension is still in good shape.Comment
