    Got it home...

I flew out to New Hampshire on Wednesday, purchased the car, and drove it back to Minnesota arriving Thursday night. I bought the car from ///M Erik on S14.net, and I have to say that the car was somewhat misrepresented by the seller, but oh well, I will just have to get those things worked out over the winter.

Anyway, here's a pic of of the new car along side of the 325 that will be headed out to Massachusetts to its new owner soon.

I must say that after spending 1500 miles on some of the best back roads I have ever seen(Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin), I now have a better understanding of what the S14 is all about. My intention was to sell the motor, but to be honest, I think I'm going to put it on the motor stand and save it for a 2.5 rebuild someday...

What an awesome car, but you need one to replace your 325i.

                  yes
just once would it be nice to here people here quit talking about swapping engines. Appreciate the originality, for godsakes. S14's shouldn't be so disposable.

                  nice car

Yeah he's keeping it alright...on an engine stand! I think he's determined to put the S50 in.

good 'nuff for me... at least he appreciates the beauty of the s14 (somewhat)

its a good start for someone who throws e36 motors in e30s...

What's your point, or better yet, what's your problem?

I'm taking a car that has had substantial front end damage and ressurecting the car after 3 years of neglect and abuse by the previous owner after being resurrected by Mario Langston.

I'm obsessive about details when it comes to my cars and I can assure you that the car will be better than it ever has when I'm done with it. The S14 is coming out right now because I cant afford the 2.5 rebuild, and the S50 is going in because I could never get my money out of a 1500 mile motor that I have 10k into....
