I orignaly wanted an early body Corvair (60-64). But this came out of nowhere and i had to have it. And i wouldnt be scared to ride in the early ones. If you watch and look at the pictures of the ones rolling. they got the car so jacked up in the rear that the tires are tucking under, plus they are going so fast with it to get it to roll, the hubcaps fly off!

lol, i got the pedel still but it's in the garage sitting. And nope, never owned an e21. Looked at a few, but all the ones i looked at was so rusty they where better off as parts cars.

It was a fun car, I rebuilt the turbo stuff and we reupholstered the interior. Have you ever thought of doing a turbo swap on yours?

yeah, rite after i bought mine i got a 66 Corsa parts car with the 180hp Turbo in it. But i desided to just use the 140hp i got with the Monza instead. I ended up trading my dad for a SBC for the Corsa or basicly what was left of the Corsa lol (close ratio steering box, and 180 with 4 speed. The rest of the car was junk)

and it's probably Rosenthal Chevrolet. that family owns a string of dealerships. they're still around the Arlington area.

I got super excited when I saw the title, thought you were playing around...you know sold it for money and bought a e30.
But that is one CLEAN Corvair, friend of mine owns one that her father bought new off the lot. Sunday driver its entire life, insanely clean like yours.

When are you getting another e30?

No time soon. Thought i was going to be able to sell this and buy my old one back. But didnt happen. i'm not really wanting to sell this cause i know i wont get another Corvair like this. But as for an e30, i'm sure i can aways find one. But rather save money instead of spend it on another car.

                              Very Nice!! Love the tweeks.

My Dad & I restored an early style monza 4-speed vert. fun car! Dad kept 3-4 cases of beer in the front along with bags of rock salt. the extra weight up-front seems to help the handling.
