S2000 seats are not drop in, you need to mess with the seat rails and make some brackets for the rears - s2k rails are much longer than e30 ones.

Well idk about that, I'm kinda worried that some Eurotrash VW kids will try to jack my wheels or maybe some E30 fanatic will decide to just flatbed my whole car to Mexico. :o

Yep, sure do. Gonna BAR it and then promptly take all the BAR shit off and go back to being street illegal.

I believe I've seen this car as well. It was pretty damn clean. Wonder why people keep selling it??

Wrong, you still gotta smog the car. Bar just means its a legal swap and you can take the car in for smog with that engine. We smog in CA every two years.

Until you get stopped and popped, there's really no need to get BAR'd. I have never had a cop ask me to pop my hood but then again they aren't really looking for stolen/illegal engines in old BMW's. Not yet at least.

I've had my hood popped 3 times between my two e30's.

Ask Danny about driving around an "unBAR'd" car.

Honestly, I think it's the kind of car that people plan on keeping but then life gets in the way. I know the previous two owners really put a lot of work into it and put love and passion into making it a clean car.

I don't think a police officer would even recognize that it is not the stock engine unless they're into E30's. It looks completely factory under the hood. I will ask my cousin or her husband, they are both police officers where I live.

I think as long as I don't drive like a jackass, any cop is going to think it's some old Bimmer with an exhaust. :D
