That is truly a wonderful car that you have there.
And if anyone starts bitching at you about "built not bought" (knowing someone here will) tell them to go fack themselves.
We've done cars for people who bought while we built and honestly they probably got into them for way less than what either of us had into our personal cars

FIRSTLY: sorry for the low quality of the video! My friend rode shotgun and recorded. and obviously a camera phone's microphone can't handle the tones coming from the exhaust so it sounds like it's going to explode. The exhaust sounds 1000x cleaner than this video shows.
Took the E30 to practice drift/time attack night at a local small track (Adams Motorsport Park). What a blast! She did extremely well, especially considering she had so so tires (Falken Azeni RT615's) and street pads (they faded 2-3 laps in so I had to take it easy and not push it hard.)
I got about 20 laps in so it was very fun. Only trouble happened when the brakes just wanted to give out in the 2nd and 3rd session. I could've ran a 4th but didn't want to risk it.
About the handling: WOW. Holy shot. No suspension slop, no body roll, NOTHING. the cornering is flat and completely ON RAILS. The responsiveness is just jaw dropping. What a f@#king fantastic handling car. And it has so much power that it just rips through the straights.
Luckily the gearing was just perfect and I never had to shift out of second. Unfortunately 90% of my attentio. was drawn to the brakes and the extremely early braking I had to do.
Other than that, I am blown away. Much like a Miata or S2000, this car just rips through the corners with extreme balance and speed. I cannot even imagine how incredible it'd be with some Hankook RS-3's and some GOOD track brake pads. I'm going to work on making that all happen.
Next stop: Buttonwillow and Chuckawalla!

On rails eh?,of course it cornered flat with no slip-you weren't going fast enough to have any load transfer.
Don't be afraid to push it harder,it'll be good for both you and the car. You'll learn its limits(I think your the limiting factor in that vid)and if the car breaks you know what to improve for the next time(like upgraded braking).
For an example of how to really test this is my scratch build on a similiar tight track, the car is brand new right from my garage with only 2 laps prior to the one in the vid.I drove it fairly easy for those 2 laps, checked for loose bolts etc(had a small water leak on the header you can see in the vid)and then did the 3rd lap.

Yeah, that was my first 2-3 laps and I didnt know the track. 2nd and 3rd session I pushed it much, much harder. Tire psi was too high (i was running 35 psi on the street) plus rt-615's are kinda junky... and dem overheatin brakes.
But I did learn that the chassis + suspension is extremely capable. Need brakes for next time, then maybe some nice tires.
And yeah, I do need more seat time... I'm used to the s2k which has much more grip thanks to the 255's all around, but it is incredible what the e30 is doing on 215's and so much more torque.
Guess I better start researching what track pads I should get and buy some Superblue brake fluid. :) lol

Alright, so the carbon fiber hood on my car had some major oxidization across about 95% of it. I decided to attack it with my Porter Cable DA random orbital polisher, an orange 'harsh' pad, and some Meguiars M105.
Left side is before, right side is after:

I'm running a Castro Motorsports custom 2.5" exhaust, no cat. For suspension, it's Bilstein's + custom springs, Castro Motorsports also devised that suspension.
