Holly cow! I didn't expect to get that many comments for this thread! Thanks for the kind words guys! I'll try and reply to as many of the posts and answer your questions as much as possible. But in general, yes, I feel VERY lucky to have the opportunity to own a car like this!
I haven't touched a thing since I got the car so I will be doing some minor modifications to make the car more personal to my taste. I'll be posting updates as things progress! :)Comment

Hahha Thanks! We've put a lot of work into the shop!
Here's an updated shot of the shop. It was a light day so I was able to get a good shot. :)
We also have a tread of the shop on-going on the forum here. Check out the link below for it!

Speaking of the pinstripes, does anyone know if that was an option from the factory or an aftermarket addition? I've been digging through the service records, past receipts of the car, granted is real complete and comprehensive, it doesn't mention anything on the pinstripes. I'm trying to find out if the pinstripes came from the BMW or not. The previous owner of the car said when he imported the car back in the 90s, it was already there so it makes me wonder if it was an aftermarket thing or not.Comment

Let's just say I had to pay a hefty premium for the car due to its condition, that's for sure. If it brings perspective, the car's importation taxes to the Philippines back in the 90s was $14,000 USD, in today's money, that's around $25,000 USD. So that inflates the price a little when compared to other E30 M3s out in the rest of the world. Taxes for cars are high here.
Umm.. well OVER 29k ;)Comment
