People can choose to mod their cars however they want. I never said they couldn't. I can also be peeved by things without having to explain why. Modifying every part of a car to the extent that many do, and paying no attention to the engine whatsoever is lame as balls, and that's just how I feel about it. Even if you're not going to modify it for power or performance, at least clean it up nicely, replace proper maintenance parts, fix things like leaks and worn parts, and make it presentable.
It may sound lame to some, but there's a reason why at some car shows (I've noticed a lot at VW/Audi shows), you often get points for the creativity of your hood prop. This is because what they're really looking at is your engine, the bonus points for having a clever/goofy hood prop is just an added benefit. If you're not going to have your hood up at least enough for the judges/people to see what's underneath, then it's probably a good bet that you didn't spend any time on it, that all you spent time and money on was your wheels and interior/exterior.Last edited by Jand3rson; 01-23-2011, 12:00 AM.

its just trimmed on the edges to get a better fit. the gap in the center is still there, which flows with the vents in the E30 valance
