I love the way e46s look, but I am not in love with the way they drive. I test drove my buddies (former) e46 m3 for him and left feeling the car was inadequate. Just my opinion... E30s are ok. They're fun to drive and fun to work on, but I prefer the e36 for a *driver's* car. The e36 interior might be crap, but the chassis is great.
Also, LOL at e46s being expensive to own. 3-series parts are dirt cheap. E46s seem to have some common problem areas, but nothing too severe and plenty have beaucoup miles on them.1997 540i/6 - stock

Yea u can't really tell by the pics. But whatever. Doesn't matter. No I have never seen a CSL Before. I randomly assume that a CSL is all OEM with CSL WHEELS and that's what make it a CSL REP. I didn't know they had a fr bumper cover with carbon 1x1 weave splitters with one intake hole on the driver side that goes to a carbon air box. Or had a different bootlid. OMG I just found out that they have carbon door cards! What?! There only $3k used!!!!! I might have to pick up the whole interior! The first car I ever rode in was an e30

have you seen my corvette rep?
wow you really impressed the whole crowd here today. Shouldn't you be out impressing the 15 Y/O girls with your 15,000 dollar ///M CSL BMW E46 coupe euro car (replica) instead of arguing your point here? Man, you must be rich!!! I wish I had the big cash like you!Comment

OBryan bought the steering on ebay, but never installed it (as confirmed in your "for sale" thread for the wheel. Instead, like a lot of us do with our in-queue mods, you placed the wheel in your trunk. Then one day, while hooning around town without a seatbelt, you got rear-ended.
And that formerly perfect steering wheel that was in your trunk, now looks like this
Of course, you're not going toss out a $400 steering wheel, 'cuz that's CSL conversion cash. So, instead you list it for sale using the ebay seller's picture of the wheel (see below the google cache'd pic from your "for sale" ad). You're hope is that the buyer won't ask for an actual pic of the wheel. A sucker is born every minute, after all.
ZinnoBerrotEta buys it and is not happy with your hijinks (which includes tossing a fake note inside the box designed to make it appear that the box was damaged in transit and then re-packaged by USPS). Of course, you weren't far-sighted enough to purchase insurance, so there's no way USPS is going to be left holding the bag for your shadiness. R3v collectively tells ZinnoBerrotEta to grow a pair and file a Paypal dispute instead of trying to collect from USPS (as you were hoping), but the thread gets locked before we know if he did.
Though the evidence is circumstantial, your douchy posts and Vlad references are confirming my suspicions.
So, while we're on the subject, care to update us on how this turned out?Last edited by robrez; 11-22-2012, 08:03 PM.sigpic
